To all my brides that have booked their wedding cakes with me and now have to reschedule the date for your reception don't worry you will have your cake and eat it too ! Just keep your vendors informed of your changes . We will work very hard to make it all happen.

This is the passion and mission of every wedding, birthday, anniversary cake and pastry made by Sue Larson, owner of le Gateau. For over 30 years Sue has been designing, baking, constructing, and decorating cakes and pastries in Columbus. The cake should be beautiful and memorable on the outside and taste devine on the inside. To be able to create something beautiful and taste incredible is why I bake and design cakes and pastries.
Dessert is the icing on the cake, a luxury you give to your guests, make it a great memory on your very special day.
Sue has trained over twenty years with some of the best cake artists and pastry chefs from around the world:Jacquy Pfeiffer and Sebastien Canonne M.O.F.owners of the French Pastry School, Pierre Herme, Antonio Bachour, Stephane Glacier M.O.F, Norman Love, Nickolas Lodge, Bronwen Weber, Ewald Notter and Lenotre Pastry School in Paris France.
Sue has a B.S. degree in Art Education and a M.A.. degree in art with a set design and advertising background. Sue can create edible art that tastes divine and memorable for your special day in Columbus, Ohio and the surrounding states.

Hands on pizza, pastry and bread classes are being offered at the bakeshop. We have a wood-burning oven and space to accommodate up to 20 people for classes , a networking group, or special event.
