Can rolled fondant taste good? YES, if made at le Gateau. All of the rolled fondant is flavored with a raspberry concentrate, grand marnier or Valrhona white chocolate. The cakes are covered first in  Italian meringue butter cream then the day of the wedding the fondant goes on each tier and it is decorated.  Gumpaste flowers and pulled sugar ribbons cost extra.  There are some  cakes with the ruffles or feathers  made with pulled sugar.  These are one of a kind creations Sue created  to look like the ruffles on the bridal gowns.  Inspiration comes from many places most often from the wedding gown and sometimes from Harry Potter!
